Rashmika Mandanna is a popular actress, who has lately been making headlines because of her rumoured engagement with actor, Vijay Deverakonda. For the unversed, the two have been the most loved couples since the past few years. Recently, during a latest interview, the Animal actress revealed who she would date and marry if given an option.
Rashmika Mandanna wants to marry Vijay Deverakonda
Currently, Rashmika Mandanna is busy promoting her latest film, The Girlfriend, and during an interview with Honest Townhall, the actress expressed her wish towards marrying her Geetha Govindam co-star, Vijay Deverakonda, and the crowd went crazy. During the interview, a fan asked the actress who she wants to date and whom she would marry, from all her co-stars. To answer it, Rashmika said:
“I would probably date Naruto. Sorry it’s not from films but Naruto is someone who I have been obsessed with growing up. And marry, I’ll marry Vijay.”
Then, Rashmika continued to talk about her love for anime and ‘Naruto’. She shared that she has been obsessed with anime and has grown up watching Naruto: Shippuden. She further stated that even though the anime has 600 episodes, she has seen them all. She was quoted as saying:
“I only watch anime! It is so crazy. I grew up watching Naruto: Shippuden. It’s got like some 600 episodes and I’ve finished all of them. Sasuke and all, bro like swag bro. But anime is my comfort zone.”

Rashmika and Vijay first met on the sets of Geetha Govindam, and since then fans have been shipping them because of their amazing chemistry. Later, the two reunited in Dear Comrade. Slowly and gradually, the friendship between the two started to spark dating rumours. However, it was in 2025, when the rumours grew louder as reports suggested that the two held an intimate engagement ceremony in October 2025. While it was just a rumour in the beginning, Vijay’s team confirmed it and later, Rashmika was seen wearing an engagement ring in all her interviews. In one of the recent interviews, when Rashmika Mandanna was asked about her ring and engagement rumours with Vijay, the actress had shared:
“I am enjoying it.”

Rashmika Mandanna was born on April 5, 1996, in Karnataka. She studied at Coorg Public School and later completed a degree with majors in journalism, English literature and psychology. In 2016, she made her acting debut with the film, Kirik Party, but her breakthrough came with Geetha Govindam.
Later, she went on to films in multiple languages like Hindi, Kannada, Tamil and Telugu. Some of her hit films include Animal, Thamma, Pushpa, Bheeshma, Dear Comrade, Sikandar and more. Most recently, she was seen in the film, The Girlfriend, which was released on November 7, 2025. Reportedly, she will next be seen in the films, Pushpa 3 and Animal 2.
