The Gujarat Board has officially released the schedule for the upcoming Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations 2026, to be held from February 26 to March 16, 2026.
The announcement covers exams for General, Science, Vocational and Sanskrit streams. The detailed date sheet is available on the Gujarat Board’s official website, www.gseb.org.
The exams will be held in two shifts, morning and afternoon, depending on the stream. The Class 10 exams will take place in the morning session, while Class 12 Science and General stream exams will be conducted in the afternoon.
CLASS 10 EXAMS TO BEGIN ON FEBRUARY 26
According to the timetable, the Class 10 (Secondary School Certificate) exams will start on February 26 and conclude on March 16. All subjects, except for vocational courses, will carry 80 marks each.

CLASS 12 SCIENCE EXAMS FROM FEBRUARY 26
The Class 12 (Higher Secondary Certificate) Science stream exams will also start on February 26 and continue till March 13. The afternoon session will run from 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm.

Each paper will be divided into two parts, Part A (OMR format with 50 multiple-choice questions carrying 50 marks, duration 60 minutes) and Part B (descriptive questions for 50 marks).
GENERAL, VOCATIONAL AND SANSKRIT STREAMS
For Class 12 General and Vocational streams, the examination will be held from 3:00 pm to 6:15 pm, between February 26 and March 16.
Additionally, the Sanskrit Pratham exams will be conducted from February 26 to March 3, in the 10:00 am to 1:15 pm slot. The Sanskrit Madhyama exams will take place from February 26 to March 13, in the 3:00 pm to 6:15 pm slot.
REGISTRATION DEADLINE AND EXAM FEE DETAILS
The Gujarat Board has also started the online registration process for the February 2026 exams.
Students of Class 10, Sanskrit Pratham, and Class 12 (General, Science, Vocational, U.U. Basic streams, and Sanskrit Madhyama) can fill out their exam forms on the official website gseb.org.
The last date for submission with the regular exam fee is December 6, 2025 (till midnight). The board has instructed schools to assist students with timely form completion and verification.
