Manoj Bajpayee, Priyamani, Jaideep Ahlawat, Nimrat Kaur, Shraib Hashmi, directors Raj-DK, Suman Kumar, Tusshar Seyth, writer Sumit Arora, Nikhil Madhok of Amazon Prime Video and many others attended the trailer launch of the highly awaited web series, The Family Man Season 3, at a five-star hotel in Mumbai. The team of the show raised laughs as they spoke about it and a lot more. At one point, they touched upon the million-dollar question – what happened in Lonavala between the characters of Priyamani and Sharad Kelkar.
The Family Man Season 3 team touches upon ‘What happened in Lonavala’ at trailer launch: “In next season, we’ll reveal what really happened in Lonavala in GRAPHIC detail!”
Suman Kumar took the cake when he was asked about any hidden aspect in the show that fans haven’t decoded yet. Suman said, “I don’t think the fans have decoded what happened in Lonavala.” The host waited for him to give out the suspense but he said, “Am I supposed to say something more? I don’t know. You should have briefed me!”
He then said, “I’d love to share with you guys what happened in Lonavala but unfortunately, fans will have to wait and maybe answer the question if there’s a subsequent season to The Family Man.” Priyamani added, “Or, maybe there can be a spin-off.”
Suman joked, “If there’s a subsequent season, we shall give out what really happened in Lonavala in graphic detail!” The team laughed over this statement. Krishna DK said, “That’s a good teaser for that season!” The host, meanwhile, quipped, “We can call it The Family Man: Lonavala Edition.”
Nimrat Kaur, who plays the antagonist, also stole the show. She exulted, “There’s nothing more fun than playing evil. You don’t even have to go to jail for it! That’s the best part (laughs). You can do what you want and you can get away with murder and much more. You also have a great wardrobe while you do it. You do it with high heels, flamboyance and sex appeal. Meera is all about that. I found her to be evil but in couture (laughs). It’s a girl’s dream!”
The Family Man Season 3 releases on Amazon Prime Video on November 21.
