The Directorate of General Education, Tamil Nadu (TNDGE) has officially released the complete timetables for the SSLC (Class 10) and Higher Secondary (Class 12) public examinations for the academic year 2025-26.
With exams scheduled between March and April 2026, students can now access the detailed subject-wise schedule on the board’s official website, dge.tn.gov.in.
SSLC (Class 10) Exams from March 11 to April 6
According to the notification, the Tamil Nadu SSLC examinations will be held from March 11 to April 6, 2026 at designated centres across the state. The board has urged students to utilise the schedule for effective exam preparation.

HSE (+1) EXAMINATIONS FOR ARREAR CANDIDATES
The Higher Secondary first-year (Class 11) arrear examinations will be conducted from March 3 to March 27, 2026. Practical exams are scheduled from February 16 to 21, 2026, and results are tentatively planned for May 20, 2026.
HSE (+2) EXAMS FROM MARCH 2 TO MARCH 26
The Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary Second Year (+2) public examinations will begin on March 2, 2026, and conclude on March 26, 2026. Students appearing for various streams can check the detailed subject-wise schedule below.

EXAM TIMINGS AND INSTRUCTIONS
The examination timing for both SSLC and HSE students will be 10:00 am to 1:15 pm, with the following schedule:
- 10-10:10 am: Reading time
- 10:10-10:15 am: Verification of particulars
- 10:15 am-1:15 pm: Writing duration
Students are advised to reach their exam centres well in advance and follow all instructions issued by the Directorate.
