Director Bejoy Nambiar’s upcoming romantic thriller Tu Yaa Main has officially wrapped filming — and fittingly, it happened on Halloween weekend. Starring Shanaya Kapoor and Adarsh Gourav in lead roles, the film has been described as a genre-bending mix of romance, thrills, and psychological intrigue.

The team completed its final schedule just in time for the spooky season, with an adrenaline-filled overseas stint in Bangkok, Thailand. The shoot spanned multiple locations and, according to insiders, amplified the film’s intense and atmospheric survivalist tone.
Produced by Aanand L Rai, Himanshu Sharma, and Vinod Bhanushali, Tu Yaa Main is a collaboration between Colour Yellow Productions and Bhanushali Studios Limited. The film is being touted as a “date-fright” experience — a term that has already caught the attention of audiences for its promise of blending heart-pounding romance with unexpected chills.
Described as a psychological drama laced with emotion and suspense, Tu Yaa Main is set to be one of the most unconventional Valentine’s Day releases of 2026. The film’s intriguing crocodile motif, teased across its production updates, has sparked curiosity among fans who have been speculating about its deeper meaning.
To mark the wrap, the team hosted a quirky croc-themed party, striking a perfect balance between eerie and fun. Reflecting on the journey, director Bejoy Nambiar shared, “Every film changes you a little, and Tu Yaa Main definitely did that for me. Wrapping this one up feels special, since the experience has been raw, emotional, and just the right amount of wild. That’s exactly what we set out to make.”
With principal photography now complete, Tu Yaa Main heads into post-production, building anticipation for its Valentine’s 2026 theatrical release. Presented by Aanand L Rai, the film promises to deliver a captivating mix of tension, passion, and mystery — a cinematic experience that’s equal parts heart and haunt.
