Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen suited up Monday night for the 2025 CFDA Fashion Awards in New York City, making a rare joint appearance in coordinating black coats.
The Row designers, 39, skipped the red carpet but snuck into the ceremony at the American Museum of Natural History, where they were honored with the American Accessory Designer of the Year award.
Ashley appeared to wear The Row’s Erdene coat ($5,500, though currently sold out online), a tailored tuxedo style in lightweight wool with a satin shawl collar. Mary-Kate chose a similar black coat with front darts and padded shoulders.
Both sisters styled their outerwear over plunging V-neck tops — Mary-Kate’s white, Ashley’s black.
They finished the looks with extravagant vintage Cartier jewelry: Ashley, a 1928 Art Deco jadeite and diamond brooch (a twin of which currently retails for $65,000), and Mary-Kate, a 1938 citrine and diamond necklace, a version of which sold at auction by Sotheby’s for 274,000 Swiss Francs ($338,000).
The duo accepted their trophy from “Overcompensating” actor Benito Skinner and jewelry designer Jennifer Fisher, with Mary-Kate delivering a brief but heartfelt speech. The Cut later shared a video of the remarks on Instagram.
“To our amazing customers who truly give us the opportunity to do what we love, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you,” she said.
She also paid tribute to friends and family, noting, “Without your support, we would not be here today. Thank you for giving us the love and kindness that allows us to show up to work each day.”
The former “Full House” stars beat out fellow nominees Ana Khouri, Catherine Holstein for Khaite, Raul Lopez for Luar and Tory Burch for the prestigious prize.
This marks yet another CFDA win for the fashion moguls, who have now collected multiple trophies over the years. They previously won the Accessory Designer of the Year award in 2014, 2018, 2019, and 2023, plus Womenswear Designer of the Year honors in 2012 and 2015.
Monday’s outing was particularly notable given how infrequently the siblings appear together in public these days.
Their last joint outing came in September during New York Fashion Week, when they attended a W Magazine cocktail party at Eleven Madison Park, posing alongside their friend and W editor-in-chief Sara Moonves.
Moonves was also honored at Monday’s ceremony, receiving the Media Award in honor of Eugenia Sheppard, presented by actress Jennifer Lawrence.
