Iconic veteran actor Dharmendra was hospitalized last week for breathlessness. He is still in hospital and recovering.
Hema Malini on Dharmendra’s health, “I think he should be home in a few days”
When this writer spoke to his wife, the ever-gorgeous Hema Malini, she assured him of the actor’s health. “He is getting better and I think he should be home in a few days.”
She implored the alarmists to calm down. “Every day, there is some untrue report of his health. This upsets not only us, his family, but his fans and well-wishers. We spend the entire day reassuring them that he is recovering. He will be 90 in December. He is likely to have health problems. Please pray that he remains healthy.”
November 2 was Hema Malini’s elder daughter Esha’s birthday. The celebrations were understandably subdued. “We are all tense about Dharamji’s health. Until he comes home, Esha has her birthday celebrations on hold.”
