Elwood Clothing, a Los Angeles-based brand recognized for its elevated essentials and vintage-inspired aesthetic, has announced a new collaboration with Paul Klein, the frontman of pop band Lany. The partnership will debut as a 19-piece capsule collection on Nov. 7, exclusively available at elwoodclothing.com.
The collaboration originated from a casual conversation between friends, which evolved into one of Elwood’s most personal projects to date. “We’ve been working on it for a long time — through my crazy schedule and Lany’s — but we kept collaborating, and it finally came together. This is Elwood by Paul Klein, something we’re really excited about and proud of,” Klein told WWD.

Justin Saul, founder and creative director of Elwood, said the collection has been in the making for nearly two years. “Every fabric, fit and finish was obsessed over. It’s not just another collaboration; it’s the result of countless conversations and creative moments that shaped something we’re both genuinely proud of,” Saul said.

Elwood by Paul Klein features t-shirts, cable-knit sweaters, a leather jacket and a matching bag, all designed to reflect Klein’s signature style. Prices range from $50 to $250, with each piece crafted to feel lived-in and wearable, according to the brand.
“When they asked what I wanted to make, they just said, ‘Whatever you want.’ I was able to drop anything that came to mind, and we made something I’m really proud of,” Klein said.

A campaign starring Klein will be unveiled ahead of the collection’s launch. Klein was in charge of the creative direction and styling alongside Tyler Mazaheri. “I’ve always expressed myself through lyrics, but long before the music, my voice was heard through what I wore,” Klein said. “If you look good, you feel good. If you feel good, you play good.”
