Bollywood actress Ananya Panday rang in her 27th birthday with a special throwback from Vogue India. The magazine revisited her first-ever cover story and treated fans to previously unseen snippets from her ‘In The Bag’ video, where the actress opened up about her personal quirks, family love, and the little things that make her feel at home.
Ananya Panday says she’d carry sister Rysa “but mute” in her bag; calls pet Riot her ultimate “home-wala feeling”
When asked who she would fit into her bag if she could, Ananya instantly named her younger sister, Rysa Panday. “One person I would fit into my bag would be my sister Rysa because she’s like my favourite person ever and she lives far away from me,” she said, adding playfully, “So if I could just like put her into my bag—but a mute version of Rysa. So she doesn’t say anything to me. Just like Rysa, but mute.”
In another video, the actress revealed what she keeps in her Chanel bag — including something for her furry companion. “I have a dog. Actually, I have two — Astro and Riot. But whenever Riot comes on set, I have to entertain him somehow. So I just have like a backup toy to keep him occupied,” she said, calling him “the most perfect dog in the world.”
Expressing her deep bond with Riot, Ananya shared, “He just came into my life at the right time. Honestly, when I hear his feet, I just feel like I’m home. That’s the most home-wala feeling that I have. Or when I’m feeling sad, he’ll just look at me and tilt his head and I feel like nothing matters in this world.”
On the professional front, Ananya Panday will next be seen in Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, co-starring Kartik Aaryan. Backed by Karan Johar and directed by Sameer Vidwans, the romantic drama is set to release in December this year.
