A Pokemon card collector from Malaysia has made headlines after selling his prized collection for a whopping RM1.87 million (Rs 3.8 crore approximately).

The collector, Damiral Imran, shared the news in a post online, saying his years-long collection was “officially sold.” He described the moment as more than a transaction – “a story of passion, hard work, and legacy.”

Photos posted online show stacks of colourful Pokemon card boxes filling a room in Shah Alam, west of Kuala Lumpur, where Damiral had built his collection over the years.

“From passion to legacy, this marks one of the biggest moments in my journey. Every card, every box, every sleepless night – all worth it. This isn’t the end. It’s just the beginning of something even greater,” Imran said in his post.

Damiral Imran had earlier hinted he was open to trading the collection for a Porsche 911 Carrera 4S and RM1 million in cash, The New Straits Times reports.
