Dax Shepard seen for first time since wife Kristen Bell’s ‘tone-deaf’ anniversary post

Dax Shepard was pictured out in public for the first time since his wife, Kristen Bell, faced backlash for her “tone-deaf” anniversary post.

Shepard was seen riding a dirt bike without a helmet on Friday.

The actor, 50, wore a blue T-shirt, dark denim jeans and a baseball cap for the fun-filled outing.

The new sighting comes just days after the 45-year-old actress made headlines for posting a questionable 12th wedding anniversary tribute.

“Happy 12th wedding anniversary to the man who once said to me: ‘I would never kill you. A lot of men have killed their wives at a certain point. Even though I’m heavily incentivized to kill you, I never would,’” she wrote to her husband alongside a photo of them hugging.

Shortly after the post went public, many of her critics pointed out that the “Nobody Wants This” star was making light of murder during Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

“Thats a wildly sad and insensitive thing to say considering it’s domestic violence awareness month and thousands of women have died a[t] the hands of the man they trusted…” one user reacted.

“Kristen there’s no way you posted this during domestic violence awareness month 😭,” another wrote.

“Dateline” also entered the chat, commenting, “Screenshotted.” A national advocacy group then blasted her for downplaying domestic violence in the wedding anniversary post.

“There’s nothing funny about domestic violence ‘jokes’ that trivialize the very real fear, trauma and pain that millions of victims and survivors face each day,” a rep for the National Network to End Domestic Violence told Page Six in a statement Tuesday.

However, a handful of supporters defended the “Frozen” star and called critics “too sensitive.”

The “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” star has yet to address the backlash. Bell has since limited her social media comments, skipped a scheduled interview on the “Today” show and ignored the controversy during her Thursday appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”

The “Veronica Mars” star has been married to the “Parenthood” actor since October 2013. The couple are parents to daughters Lincoln, 12, and Delta, 10.
