Tollywood heartthrob, Ram Charan and his wife, Upasana Konidela, are over the moon as the couple is all set to welcome their second child. There were rumours about the couple expecting another baby, and it seems they were indeed true. It is a double celebration for Chiranjeevi’s family, and their Diwali celebration coincided with Upasana’s Seemaantham (baby shower) ceremony.

Taking to her social media handle, Upasana posted a heartwarming video from her baby shower ceremony. In the video, Upasana was seen looking stunning in a blue suit as she received blessings from the other women in her family. Nagarjuna and his family were also part of the celebrations. Varun Tej was also seen with his newborn baby.
Upasana was seen posing with daughter Klin Kaara and husband Ram Charan by her side. Her in-laws, Chiranjeevi and his wife, Surekha, also posed with the couple. Ram was seen beaming with happiness as he welcomed the guests. The couple shared a collaborative post, which ended with the note, “New beginnings”. They captioned the video as:
“This Diwali was all about double the celebration, double the love and double the blessings.”

Ram Charan and Upasana Konidela embraced parenthood for the first time after 10 years of marriage
It was after ten years of marriage that Ram Charan and Upasana announced that they were expecting a little bundle of joy. On June 20, 2023, their baby girl, Klin Kaara, was born. While announcing her unique name, the couple revealed its meaning. On her social media handle, Upasana wrote that the name was taken from the Hindu mantra known as ‘Lalitha Sahasranamam’. She also penned down that the name symbolises ‘transformative and purifying energy that brings about a spiritual awakening.’
Ram Charan and Upasana Konidela’s daughter, Klin Kaara, turned two in June 2025, and the doting parents hosted an ocean-themed birthday party for her. Ram Charan dotes on his daughter, and talking about her in a TOI interview, the actor said:
“Now that Klin is interacting and recognising people, she misses me when I am not at home. The whole ball game changed. I feel left out when I am not around her, so I don’t feel like going out.”
