In an attempt to curb the rising air pollution, the Delhi government is all set to start cloud seeding from October 24 to 26. The decision came after the air quality drastically fell the next morning after Diwali.
As per sources, the government has completed all the technical and ground preparation for cloud seeding. It is now waiting for the approval of the India Meteorological Department. As soon as the Meteorological Department approves, the government will initiate the procedures.
The entire team and the machinery needed for the operations have also been placed on standby, so that the process can be accelerated soon.
