A Kolkata-based man shared a video of a woman throwing a piece of brick from one moving train to another. The video, posted by Naash Afroz Khan on Instagram, has gone viral.
In the clip, the woman, dressed in a saree, was seen standing at the gate of the moving train. In a split second, she hurled a brick fragment towards another train passing on the adjacent track.
“Hamla achaank hua tha (The attack was sudden),” read the caption of Khan’s post.

The video has clocked over 57 million views since being uploaded. In the comments section, Khan offered more context, alleging that the woman appeared intoxicated during the incident.
“This lady was in a state of intoxication and had several stones in her bag. She was scaring everyone by waving a stone in her hand and repeatedly hitting the gate, which made people stay away. Suddenly, she actually threw one at me from the next train. There is no fault of the cameraman here; he was just a passenger,” Khan explained.
The video has drawn concern from social media users, with many urging the authorities to take strict action to prevent endangering passengers’ safety.
