Woodford Reserve has unveiled its 2025 holiday bottle featuring a label created by New York-based fashion designer Alexandra O’Neill, founder of Markarian. The release marks the first time the Kentucky bourbon brand has partnered with a fashion house for its annual holiday edition.

O’Neill’s design blends Markarian’s romantic aesthetic with traditional holiday motifs. The label features winter berries, star patterns and a muted sage background inspired by seasonal foliage.

“For this holiday label, I wanted the bottle to feel like a beautifully wrapped gift — precious and celebratory,” O’Neill said in a statement. “Visiting the distillery brought the vision to life, with the evergreens, amber tones of the bourbon, and historic buildings inspiring the color story and design details.”

According to Woodford Reserve Master Distiller Elizabeth McCall, the limited-edition bottle offers a visual companion to the brand’s craft heritage. “This elegant bottle will immediately elevate any holiday party,” McCall said.

The bottle will be available globally and across the U.S. in a one-liter format, priced at a suggested $49.99. It can also be purchased online through Woodford Reserve’s official website in select states where shipping is permitted.

Markarian, founded in 2017, is known for its tailored, feminine designs and has dressed public figures, including former First Lady Jill Biden. The brand has a tradition of releasing holiday-themed collaborations. In 2024, Markarian teamed up with the Mayflower Inn & Spa in Washington, Conn., to oversee the property’s festive decor, with nods to the brand’s aesthetic.

For Woodford Reserve, the partnership builds on its long-standing tradition of seasonal releases while introducing an element of fashion storytelling to the presentation of bourbon.
