Bella Hadid went city cowgirl on Wednesday, turning SoHo into her own arena in Khaite’s brown suede Dallas boots ahead of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
The coffee-brown calfskin suede boots featured Western embroidery through the shaft, a square pointed toe and a curved two-inch heel. Pull tabs and tonal stitching reinforce the Western linework, most of which was covered by her pants that also had Western flair.

Hadid styled the boots with embellished leather trousers from Dolce & Gabbana. The slim-cut pants featured floral embroidery and scalloped fringe. A sleeveless brown turtleneck tucked neatly into the waistband kept the palette controlled and tonal — a bit of polish, a bit of the Wild West.
Western motifs have been a steady thread in Hadid’s wardrobe over the past year, from her fringed chaps at New York Fashion Week to the vintage Dior cowboy boots she wore while riding with Adan Banuelos at a Teton Ridge event last fall. Khaite’s Dallas design, first introduced in 2019 and typically reissued each season in new finishes, has become one of the label’s signature styles.

Her latest sighting also aligns with a broader luxury shift toward high-end Western footwear. In ’ August report, brands such as Miron Crosby, Lucchese, Rocketbuster Boots and Tres Outlaws described growing demand for bespoke cowboy boots crafted with fine materials like sterling silver, turquoise and hand-tooled leather. Miron Crosby’s diamond-encrusted Celestial boot even earned a spot in Neiman Marcus’ 2024 Fantasy Gifts guide, emphasizing how the Western design has moved firmly into the luxury tier.
Hadid’s SoHo appearance came just hours before the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show returned to New York with performances by Missy Elliott and a runway packed with returning Angels — including her sister, Gigi. Whether or not Bella makes a surprise appearance alongside her sister Gigi, like last year, she’s already stepped back into the spotlight in true runway form: boots first, questions later.
