    Natalie Portman Wears Jonathan Anderson’s Debut Dior Collection for Special Screening of ‘Black Swan’

    Natalie Portman gave a nod to designer Jonathan Anderson‘s debut Dior collection while attending a special screening of her Oscar-winning film “Black Swan” during the 17th Film Festival Lumiere on Monday in Lyon, France.

    The actress and longtime Dior ambassador wore a piece from the French luxury fashion house’s spring 2026 collection. The look consisted of a long-sleeve, silky dress shirt with a sharp collar and subtle buttons running down the front placket of the garment.

    The standout element of Portman’s look, however, was the pouffy miniskirt in varying shades of blue and pink, splashed over the delicate plumage. Portman added a pair of black heels with coquettish design elements, including the small bows on the front of the shoe.

    As for accessories, the actress kept her pieces mostly simple, save for a pair of simple silver dangling earrings. Her brunette hair was styled with a middle part and included soft curls. Portman often collaborates with stylist Ryan Hastings, who’s also worked with actress Anya Taylor-Joy, among others.

    As a longtime ambassador of Dior — the campaign star for the French luxury fashion house’s Miss Dior fragrance since 2010 — it’s no surprise Portman endorsed this new design from Jonathan Anderson, who was officially appointed as Dior’s eighth couturier in June.

    The designer and new creative director of women’s, men’s and haute couture collections debuted his women’s spring 2026 collection during the recent Paris Fashion Week.

    “Anderson leaned into Dior’s architectural approach, but instead of quoting the brand’s historic H line, or A line, he made up his own. In his show notes, the designer described it as a play between ‘harmony and tension.’ In reality, it looked an awful lot like his previous work at Loewe,” Joelle Diderich wrote in WWD’s review of the collection. “There were variations on bubble dresses and pouf skirts, done in vaporous lace or fuzzy knits; plissé satin tops with stiff lace collars that swooped down the back, and wispy negligees in cage-like box constructions. Anderson also experimented with jersey, with the kind of lumps-and-bumps dresses best left to Rei Kawakubo.”
