That’s showbiz, baby!
Taylor Swift is releasing a six-episode docuseries about her blockbuster Eras Tour that will feature plenty of Travis Kelce PDA.
Swift announced the news on “Good Morning America” Monday and shared a trailer for the special Disney+ project in an Instagram post shortly after.
“It was the End of an Era and we knew it,” Swift captioned the trailer.
“We wanted to remember every moment leading up to the culmination of the most important and intense chapter of our lives, so we allowed filmmakers to capture this tour and all the stories woven throughout it as it wound down,” continued. ” And to film the final show in its entirety.”
In the trailer, the “Opalite” artist is seen hugging and kissing the Kansas City Chiefs tight end backstage at one of her shows.
In another cute moment, Travis is seen carrying his now-fiancée while rehearsing for his Eras Tour stage debut in June 2024. The video also flashes to Kelce’s actual performance cameo in which he is doing the exact same move.
“The Eras Tour | The Final Show, featuring the entire Tortured Poets Department set, and the first two episodes of The End of an Era, a 6-episode behind-the-scenes docuseries will be yours December 12th on @disneyplus,” she wrote.
Other famous famous seen in the teaser included Sabrina Carpenter, who opened for several of Swift’s shows, as well as her collaborators Gracie Abrams and Ed Sheeran.
Swift included several intimate, behind-the-scenes moments in her new show — from rehearsals to celebrating with her crew and living on the road.
In one sneak peek, she was seen removing her makeup while drawing a bath for herself in a hotel room.
“I will not be able to get to sleep, I can’t like, come down,” she explained while pulling off her false eyelashes. “I’ll watch tons of TV, I have room service in bed, I signed a box of 2000 CDs, and then I’m tired. And then we do the whole thing again.”
Additionally, the songwriter is captured working out, wearing a Chiefs shirt and hugging her parents: Scott and Andrea Swift.
Taylor’s Eras Tour was a cultural phenomenon and spanned from March 2023 to December 2024.
While she was on tour, Taylor recorded two new albums — “The Tortured Poets Department” and “The Life of a Showgirl” — and re-recorded “Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) and” and “1989 (Taylor’s Version).”
