In a recently released video, Sonakshi Sinha leaned into her industry legacy with a humorous take on the phrase “born with a silver spoon.” The clip began with a light-hearted ultrasound scene, where a baby Sonakshi is shown clutching a golden spoon.

It then shifted through snapshots of her childhood—playing, hula-hooping, posing—all while keeping the spoon in hand. In the present day, the Dabangg star confidently posed with the golden spoon as a signature prop. Echoing her famous dialogue from Dabangg, she said, “Thappad se darr nahi lagta sahab, pyaar se lagta hai”, this time with the golden spoon in her mouth. The video then took a comic turn when reporters asked her about nepotism. Still holding the spoon, Sonakshi simply shrugged, while a voiceover quipped, “Sona ka sona toh by birth sorted hai.” She replied with a smile, “Aap apna dekh lo?”
Sonakshi Sinha is the daughter of veteran actor-politician Shatrughan Sinha and former actress Poonam Sinha. On the professional front, she was last seen in Nikita Roy, which released on July 18. Her next project is the Telugu action drama Jatadhara, co-starring Sudheer Babu and Divya Khossla, directed by Venkat Kalyan and Abhishek Jaiswal, scheduled to release on November 7.
