Meghan Markle exchanged power suiting for elevated business casual dressing in pieces by Ralph Lauren on Friday for her speaking engagement with Project Healthy Minds World Mental Health Day Festival in New York City.
The Duchess of Sussex, who has worn pieces by the American designer in the recent past, opted for a mix of Ralph Lauren’s namesake brand as well as the couturier’s diffusion brand Lauren Ralph Lauren. Markle wore the Capris striped cotton shirt in blue and white, which she paired with Lauren Ralph Lauren pleated satin charmeuse wide-leg pants in a navy tone.

As for her belt and footwear, Markle opted for the Lauren Ralph Lauren slide-buckle in brown leather and wore a pair of brown suede pumps by Manolo Blahnik. Her jewelry followed suit with warm tones of gold, though her approach was minimalist.
As for her glam, the “With Love, Meghan” host and As Ever founder favored a clean, natural makeup look with her hair slicked back into a tight chignon — among one of the most popular hairstyles for the fall 2025 season.

Lauren Ralph Lauren was created in 1996 as part of the larger Ralph Lauren corporation. While maintaining the designer’s signature lines and silhouettes, Lauren Ralph Lauren offers a more accessible price point with contemporary pieces in women’s and men’s apparel, shoes and accessories.
Markle’s speaking engagement with Project Healthy Minds marked the continuation of Thursday night’s celebratory events, with the organization spotlighting Markle and her husband Prince Harry with the Humanitarians of the Year award.

On Thursday night, Markle opted for the royal power suiting trend, wearing a coordinated silk jacket and palazzo trousers in black by Giorgio Armani. The Duchess of Sussex accessorized her look with a double link chain necklace in gold by Annie Bing, which retails on the designer’s official website for $600.
