Saif Ali Khan had one of the most horrific experiences of his life when an intruder barged into his home in Bandra in January 2025. Though the actor managed to save his family, he was badly injured in the process. Saif fought with the intruder all alone and got stabbed six times. Saif opened up about the incident in the recent episode of Two Much With Kajol and Twinkle.
Saif Ali Khan reveals Jeh was injured by the intruder
In one of the segments of the show, Saif Ali Khan talked about the attack that took place at his home in January 2025. Recalling the night, Saif revealed how Jeh’s nanny informed the couple about the intruder and his demand for money. Speaking about the same, Saif said:
“Kareena had been out, and I had just finished watching a movie with the boys (Taimur and Jeh). So, we went to sleep quite late, around two in the morning. After Kareena returned, we had a small chat before we turned in. Then, the maid came in and she said, ‘Jeh baba ke kamre mein koi hai. Uske haath mein chaaku hai aur bol rahe hai usko paisa chahiye.”
In the same conversation, Saif revealed that after hearing about the intruder, he rolled out of his bed and tried to save the kids. When Akshay Kumar asked whether the intruder had pointed the knife at Jeh, Saif replied that since the intruder was moving so much, he had injured Jeh as both the little one and his nanny had cut marks.
Saif Ali Khan recalled how their house help saved his life
In the same conversation, the actor recalled that he jumped and blocked the intruder, who, in turn, stabbed him multiple times. Recalling the multiple stabs he endured Saif said:
“I tried to remember my training and blocked a couple of them. But then I felt a thump in my back that was really hard. By then, everyone was out of their rooms. Gita, our domestic help, aided me in this struggle and pushed the guy off me. She saved my life at that point because he had cut me everywhere. Then we locked him in a room.”
The deadly attack at Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor’s home
For the uninitiated, it was on January 16, 2025, when an intruder entered the apartment of Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor in Bandra. As per the initial reports, the attacker, who was from Bangladesh, started fighting with Saif after he confronted him, and in the process, the actor got hurt, which left him with six wounds, two of them being major.
Saif Ali Khan was rushed to the Lilawati Hospital and had to undergo intense surgery as some stabs were close to his spine. A 2.5-inch piece of the blade was removed from his spine after a five-hour-long surgery. Saif also suffered a long cut on the right side of his neck, another cut on his right shoulder and a deep stab wound on the left side of his back.
