The 1987 action film Jalwa, starring Naseeruddin Shah and Archana Puran Singh, featured Farah Khan’s first on-screen appearance. In the song Feeling Hot Hot Hot, a young Farah can be seen dancing energetically in the background, dressed in a white outfit and sporting curly hair.
The track was composed by Anand–Milind and Remo Fernandes, and sung by Sharon Prabhakar. While Farah’s official debut as a choreographer came in 1992, this early appearance shows just how long she’s been part of the industry.
Farah Khan Reacts to the Viral Clip
The video was recently shared on Instagram by a fan page, with the caption: “Farah Khan’s first appearance as a professional dancer in a film was as a background dancer in the 1987 movie Jalwa, in the song Feeling Hot Hot Hot.” Reacting to the post, Farah commented, “Ohhh my goddd!! ”, clearly amused by the nostalgic moment. Actor Richa Chadha also joined the fun, commenting, “So cute.”
