In a post shared by Freida on Facebook on October 7, 2025 (ET), she revealed that she had been up all night praying for her to feel better. She was quoted as saying:
“Last night, I was up all night praying for my sister, Dolly. Many of you are aware that she hasn’t been feeling her best lately. I truly believe in the power of prayer, and I have been led to ask all of the world that loves her to be prayer warriors and pray with me.”
In the same heartfelt post, Freida Parton revealed that Dolly is extremely adored and strong. She shared that with the prayers of her fans, she will make a full recovery. While she didn’t open up about what exactly Dolly is suffering from, the post has left the fans concerned as they send her prayers and immense love across social media platforms. She was quoted as saying:
“She’s strong, she’s loved, and with all the prayers being lifted for her, I know in my heart she’s going to be just fine. Godspeed, my sissy Dolly. We all love you.”
Dolly Parton postpones her Las Vegas residency
Dolly Parton has also postponed her Las Vegas residency. The singer issued a statement sharing that she won’t be able to continue with the shows as she has been dealing with some health challenges, and her doctors have told her that she must get a few procedures done as soon as possible. She added:
“As I joked with them, it must be time for my 100,000 check-up, although it’s not the usual trip to see my plastic surgeon! In all seriousness, given this, I will not be able to rehearse and put together the show that I want you to see, and the show that you deserve to see. You see good money to see me perform, and I want to be at my best for you.”
In the same note, Dolly Parton also assured her fans that she won’t be quitting the show business anytime soon, as God hasn’t said anything about stopping yet. However, she had to slow down at the moment and take care of herself. She concluded the post, sharing that she has to take a break because she wants to be ready for more big adventures with all her fans.
