Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee Tuesday visited BJP MP Khagen Murmu in a Siliguri hospital’s ICU where he was admitted for being injured in an attack, allegedly by Trinamool workers, during his visit to flood-affected areas of Nagrakata, Jalpaiguri.The CM spoke to doctors treating Murmu and met his wife and son . “If you need further treatment elsewhere, please let me know,” she told the MP. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has sought a report from Bengal govt within three days on the attack.
