Bollywood stars Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan brought humor, honesty, and heartfelt stories to the latest episode of Prime Video’s Two Much with Kajol and Twinkle. The long-time friends, who last appeared together on-screen 17 years ago in Tashan, reunited for a conversation that effortlessly swung between hilarious confessions and emotional reflections.

The episode opened with Twinkle Khanna recalling how she first met Akshay Kumar through her father, the late Rajesh Khanna. “We actually met because of my dad,” she said. “My dad had an old producer friend. He said, ‘You have to work in this movie because I have given my word.’ I didn’t want to work with him at that point, but I did.” Twinkle added that Akshay was going through a difficult phase in his career then, while she “was being snobby.”

Saif Ali Khan quickly chimed in with his trademark humor, saying, “You’ve always given some flops and then super hits, so who cares?”

Akshay then revealed how meticulous Twinkle was before their marriage, sharing, “Aadmi jab shaadi karta hai toh do kundliyaan milata hai (When we get married, we generally match the horoscopes). She didn’t believe in that. You know what she did? She checked if my father had any kind of disease—she’s removed all the genetic and DNA background till my mamas, chachas and chachis. And then, and only then, she decided that okay, I can marry him.”

Describing their contrasting personalities, Akshay said, “She is fire. I am water. She says whatever she wants to. I just keep myself calm and quiet. Just listen and try to understand what she’s trying to say.” He humorously added, “Do whatever you want, but listen. I think every husband should be a good listener.”

Saif responded with a memory of his father, Tiger Pataudi, who had his own method of staying calm during arguments. “He used to think about playing cricket while fighting with Sharmila Tagore,” Saif said, quoting his father, “I just think about playing cricket or something during the argument. I don’t say anything.”

Balancing the banter with nostalgia, Saif spoke about his early days with Kareena Kapoor during the filming of Tashan. “When I went to Ladakh, we used to go for these long walks, and she’d ask me a lot of questions, which were kind of a test meets interview. Like, what is your view on love? This kind of went on for a while. It was very old-fashioned,” he said.

The conversation took a light-hearted turn when Kajol brought up tattoos. Saif shared the story behind his famous ‘Kareena’ tattoo, while Akshay mentioned inking his family’s names. When Kajol teased Twinkle about not having a tattoo of Akshay’s name, she replied with her trademark wit, “Nothing is permanent in life. Tattoos are, marriages are not. I don’t want any tattoo, baadmein (later on) I’ll have to change it,” sparking laughter among the group.

However, the episode wasn’t all fun and games. Saif also opened up about a frightening experience when he confronted an intruder in his son Jeh’s room. “I barged into Jeh’s room, and in the dark, I saw this guy standing over his bed with a knife. I jumped on him and we started fighting. And then, he went mad. He had these two knives, and he just started slashing all over me. Taimur looked at me upstairs, and he said, ‘Oh, my God! Are you going to die?’ And I said, no, I don’t think so. But I’ve got a pain in the back. I’m not going to die, I’m fine,” Saif shared, adding that Jeh later called him “his Hero.”
