Actors Bobby Deol and Twinkle Khanna, who made their Bollywood debut together in Rajkumar Santoshi’s 1995 romantic drama ‘Barsaat’, are celebrating 30 years since the film’s release. On Monday, Twinkle took a nostalgic trip down memory lane as she shared unseen pictures from the sets of their debut film, expressing disbelief at how quickly time has flown.
In her Instagram post, Twinkle shared two photos – one featuring Bobby making a goofy face while she looked straight into the camera, and another of the duo in a romantic pose. Reflecting on their journey, she captioned the post, “Hard to believe that it’s been thirty years and we are still here doing our thing. @iambobbydeol just sent me this picture from our Barsaat days. I suppose disappearing gracefully was never our style:) #30YearsOfBarsaat.”

‘Barsaat’ was a massive milestone for both actors, earning them the Filmfare Award for Best Debut. While Twinkle eventually stepped away from acting after a few films to reinvent herself as a bestselling author and columnist, Bobby continued to work in cinema, recently enjoying a powerful career resurgence with Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Animal’, co-starring Ranbir Kapoor.
The two have remained close over the years, with Bobby even sharing the screen with Twinkle’s husband, Akshay Kumar, in films like ‘Ajnabee’, ‘Thank You’, and ‘Housefull 4.’
Twinkle, meanwhile, has stepped into the digital space with her celebrity talk show ‘Two Much’, co-hosted by Kajol. The Amazon Prime Video series has already featured big names like Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Alia Bhatt, and Varun Dhawan.
