Spanish designer Paloma Wool has figured out how to sell knitwear amid global warming. The ease and lightness of her spring 2026 collection was impressive.

At the basement of a private hall not far from Maison de Balzac in Paris, she had a child running around the venue, turning up the lights on the floor before the models walked out with their larger-than-life shadows projecting on the wall.

The lineup itself gave a minimalist vibe reminiscent of the early 2000s. It’s about the subtle details, the double-layer plays on contrasting materials like the sequins under transparent knits, and blue and green undergarments getting a hazy filter via light and sheer tops.

Wool, who this year welcomed her second child, also added side button closures on shirts and polos, a feature commonly seen on baby’s bodysuits. She offered some great uber flat shoes as well, tapping into the latest footwear trend.

There were several toddlers and young mothers at the show, making the occasion not just about her, but also her children and their friends.
