Bad Bunny and Adidas have worked on numerous silhouettes since their partnership began in 2021, and leaks suggest they’ll take their relationship to another level with a signature sneaker.
The Bad Bunny x Adidas BadBo 1.0 will be the superstar artist’s first original silhouette. As shown in a sample obtained by the reseller @hypedsolutions, the mid-top sneaker features shaggy suede overlays with a strong resemblance to the German Army Trainer — or GAT. Smoother suede, leather and mesh are used throughout the upper in a mix of grays, and branding is kept to a minimum.
There’s no Three Stripes motif in the construction, but a small blue Trefoil logo appears on the collar. The tongue appears to boast a stitched motif rather than a logo, and “Adidas Para Bad Bunny” text continues from previous sneakers onto the insole.
Bad Bunny has previously been seen performing in the sneaker, but these in-hand images provide the best look yet at the signature model. The BadBo 1.0 was also shown behind frosted glass in August at an Adidas exhibition in Puerto Rico with the lines of the upper visible through more dynamic color-blocking.
Thus far, Bad Bunny and Adidas have collaborated on the multiple iterations of the Forum Low, the Response CL, Campus, Gazelle Indoor, Taekwondo (as the Ballerina) and Adizero SL 72. Their most recent drop consisted of an Adizero SL 72 mixing several colorways from their past, and they’ll soon turn to the Adiracer GT for the first time.
Release details are still to come for the Bad Bunny x Adidas BadBo 1.0, but the signature sneaker is expected to debut in 2026. WWD’s sibling publication Footwear News will keep you abreast of any updates.
