However, when it comes to his personal life, he has decided not to share it with anyone else. In a recent conversation with IANS, he explained why he made such a significant decision.
Terence Lewis revealed why he decided against marriage
Terence Lewis has established himself as a renowned choreographer and a successful dance master in the film industry. However, when it comes to his personal life, he refrained from sharing that passion with anyone else. Now, in a candid conversation, he had revealed why marriage was not on the cards for him and shared that he’s content and happy without walking down the aisle. Known for his unfiltered nature and impeccable dance moves, Terence shared that the “expiry date” for marriage in his life had passed, and he is now “off the marriage shelf.”
The ace dancer explained that he is genuinely happy being single and doesn’t see the need to complicate things by getting married. During the conversation, Terence Lewis revealed that he doesn’t see any point in making someone else’s life difficult when he has already learned from his own experiences. He added that, in his opinion, it was better for him to suffer the consequences of action than involving another person. He was quoted as saying:
“Hum se toh na ho paega, yeh expiry date ho chuka hai, now I’m off the shelf, marriage shelf. I’m very happy being single, and I think kyu kisi ki life barbaad karna hai, maine khud ki apni life barbaad kari chuka hu. So, I think one person miserable is better than two.”

Terence Lewis recently turned heads as he walked the runway for designers, Vishal and Sona Thawani. The dancer turned showstopper for the show and thoroughly enjoyed the experience of walking the ramp as a groom. The choreographer expressed how special it felt to don the groom’s attire and be part of the stunning showcase. He shared that for him, the walk was not just about fashion but also about embodying the emotions and elegance of a groom. Terence looked handsome in a blue sherwani, which was completed with a white and black jacket. The abstract prints added stars to an otherwise simple attire.
Terence Lewis’s work projects
On the work front, Terence Lewis is renowned for his exceptional choreography in Bollywood films, including Lagaan, Jhankaar Beats, and Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela. He has an extensive work record that goes beyond cinema. He has designed choreography for numerous stage shows, Indian contemporary dance performances, corporate events, Broadway and West-End musicals, as well as music videos and feature films. He was also the first Indian to receive the prestigious Dance Web Europe Scholarship, representing India at the event in Vienna, Austria.
