Ice Spice returned to her stomping grounds for Kate Spade‘s fall 2025 global brand campaign titled “Spark Something Beautiful.”

The “Gimme A Light” rapper joined the likes of Laufey and Charli D’Amelio for the campaign, with New York City serving as the bustling backdrop. This marks the second time the Bronx native has partnered with the fashion label. “Kate Spade is fun, bold, and super feminine — all vibes I love and really resonate with as a fashion girlie,” Spice says in an exclusive interview with Billboard. “As a born and raised Bronx girl, I was also so excited to be part of something that really celebrates New York and the energy of the city.

Beyond the themes of the hustle and bustle of the city, the campaign’s fixation was the crescent-shaped Duo bag, an innovative silhouette for the brand which is now available on Kate Spade’s website. The style comes in a total of six colorways ranging from neutrals to more vibrant hues, and can sit both crossbody or placed on the shoulder, offering a slew of styling opportunities. Pricing on the bag begins at $298 and can range based on the colorway or composition. Your typical Duo is made of pebbled leather, save for the suede and leopard haircalf options.

Spice’s favorite feature is the detachable mini pouch affixed to the side, sort of like a bag charm. It can be worn alone, as a belt bag on the waist or across the chest. The bag also comes with stylish gilded hardware accompanied by branded embossments throughout, giving the bag an instantly recognizable feel.

“The Duo is so easy and fun to style. For a chill fall day in New York, I’d style it with an oversized leather jacket, some baggy jeans, and chunky boots—more cozy but still cute. At night, I’d switch to a bodycon dress, straight hair, and a fun pair of heels to make the outfit pop,” Spice says in regards to the Kate Spade innovation. “It’s giving effortless, but still put-together—just like a real New Yorker.”

When it comes to her style inspirations, Spice cites her mother Charina Almanzar, supermodel Naomi Campbell and fellow artist Rihanna. “They all serve in their own way. I like mixing old-school glam with streetwear, always adding a little Bronx flavor no matter where I’m going, whether it’s on stage or just running errands,” she says.

The campaign arrived shortly after the release of Spice’s latest single “Baddie Baddie” on Sept. 26. The new track marks the rapper’s first solo release since she dropped her debut album Y2K! in 2024. “‘Baddie Baddie’ is all about confidence. It’s for the girls who know who they are,” she says of her new song. “I wanted to make something that hits instantly—you play it and feel on top of the world, like you just got your hair done and you’re walking through the city like it’s your runway.”
