Ace Malayalam actor, Ullas Pandalam has been known for winning a place in the hearts of his fans through his acting chops, comedy, and mimicry. At the moment, the actor is facing a health challenge as he had a stroke recently, due to which he is unable to walk properly, and there is also weakness in one side of his body. His health condition has been serious, and his second wife, Divya Pandalam, was seen present with him, assisting him.
Fans of the actor have been worried after a viral clip showed Ullas struggling to walk and experiencing pain on his face. It was his wife, Divya, who was present along with his friend, Lakshmi Nakshatra. Ullam’s family did ensure he travelled back safely from the event from his house. Ullas Pandalam’s first wife, Asha, after a quarrel with the actor died by suicide
Ullas has had his share of struggles in his personal life, apart from overcoming poverty as well as financial hurdles. It was in December 2022 when Ullas’ wife, Asha, was found dead on the first floor of their home in the morning. According to a report by the English Mathrubhumi, a team of Pandalam cops came to the home of Ullas and found Asha hanging on the open terrace. Reportedly, the actor had informed that his wife was missing.
The report also stated that Asha and Ullas had a minor fight with one another, post which she went to sleep on the first floor with her kids, Indujith and Suryajith. Ullas had given a statement where he claimed to have gone and found her, but just saw the kids in the room. He searched the home and, after reporting to the cops that he could not find her, she was seen on the terrace of their apartment. Reportedly, her body was between clothes that were spread for drying, and Ullas may not have seen the body while searching for Asha.

Asha’s sudden demise had left the entire film fraternity shocked, as Ullas was known to be a family-oriented man. His fans were also upset as the actor was dedicated to his family as well as his kids. On one hand, Ullas, whose life began in a small thatched shed, had worked hard to create a pretty two-storied home. On the other hand, in that home, he had to witness the loss of his wife, and after Asha’s demise, Ullas’ father-in-law, Sivanandan, made an interesting claim.
According to a report by the same publication, he shared that there were no irregular differences between the star and his daughter. He shared that his late daughter, Asha, may have ended her life due to some mental issues, and the report claimed that Sivanandan and his family did not have any complaint against the actor. A day before Asha had ended her life, her dad had even spoken to her, and she claimed to be fine.
Ullas Pandalam found true love for the second time in Divya
Ullas reportedly had withdrawn from public life after the demise of Asha, and it was reported there was no foul play. Ullas, by his father-in-law, was known as a responsible guy and then focused on his kids, withdrew from the world, until Divya came into his life. She helped him cope with the loss, and it was on August 10, 2024, that they got married. Divya was a lawyer and also the Vice President of Areekode Panchayat in Malappuram. Their wedding had taken place at the famous Saligram Umamaheswara Temple and only the close relatives of the family were in attendance. It marked the second marriage of Ullas, which was actually a pretty low-key affair.
