The spring 2026 Valentino show in Paris today was bound to bring out top-tier stars for its front row, and designer Alessandro Michele certainly knows how to draw an A-list crowd. Colman Domingo, Pamela Anderson, Clairo, and Emma Chamberlain were among the celebrities in attendance—but would it even be an Alessandro Michele show without the presence of one of his recurring muses, Lana Del Rey? How about Lana Del Rey and Jeremy Dufrene?
The singer—who served as a pillar of inspiration for Michele when he was at Gucci—attended the show with her sister Caroline Grant and husband Jeremy Dufrene in tow. The latter of which was particularly noteworthy, given the married couple—who tied the knot last year—rarely make public outings together. Naturally, Del Rey and Dufrene each embodied their own distinct fashion mood for the occasion—meaning, there was no matching or complementary fashions here. In fact, it was quite the opposite.
Del Rey played into her vintage, retro sensibilities (an Alessandro Michele speciality) with a delicate chiffon gown, which featured whimsical details like a bow-tied waist and fur sleeves. She also carried one of the Italian label’s embroidered floral handbags, with bowed slingbacks on her feet. Dufrene—who runs a popular airboat swamp tours in Louisiana—donned a more casual getup, including a navy shirt jacket and pants, baseball cap, and gas station sunglasses worn upside down.
Together, the sartorial vibes of Lana Del Rey and Jeremy Dufrene could not be more clashing—and we personally love it. Much like how Hailey and Justin Bieber dress, there is something charming about opposing couple style, and allowing each other to follow their individual tastes and passions, without blending into one bland unit.
