According to a report by Times Of India, the winner of reality show, Cooku With Comali Season 2, Kani Thiru, is all set to enter the Bigg Boss house. She is known for playing the lead in the web series, Parachute, alongside Krishna and Kishore. Television host, VJ Parvathy, also known as VJ Paaru, will also be seen in the house. She is known for her confident and charming hosting skills.
Third TV actor to enter is Vinoth Babu, who is known for his roles in Sundari Neeyum Sundaran Naanum and Thendral Vandhu Ennai Thodum. TV serial, Ponni fame, Sabari Nadhan is also expected to participate in this season on Bigg Boss.

According to the same report by Times Of India, director, Praveen Gandhi and debate speaker, Kongu Manjunadhan are also expected to participate in Bigg Boss. Praveen Gandhi is known for work like Ratchagan, Jodi, Star, and Pulipaarvai, while debate speaker, Kongu Manjunadhan, has impressed audiences with his sharp arguments and has also acted with Bigg Boss 8 Tamil fame actor, Ranjith in the film, Kavundampalayam.

A report by One India suggested more contestants, who are likely to join Bigg Boss 9, apart from the 9 confirmed contestants. The list includes popular faces like actress and Mahanadhi fame, Aadhirai Soundarajan. Ashwini Aanandita, who rose to fame with Dance Jodi Dance, Namma Veetu Ponnu and Thangamagal might also appear as a contestant. Apart from them, actor, Kamarudin, filmmaker, Malini Jeevarathnam, Heartbeat 2 fame, Roshan and Bharatanatyam dancer, Subiksha Krishnan are likely to bring their own charm to the reality show.
