Rachel Jeffs Blackmore’s harrowing story is the center of the new Lifetime Ripped From the Headlines movie, Surviving My Father: The Rachel Jeffs Story, which premieres on October 4. The film is based on her memoir, Breaking Free: How I Escaped Polygamy, the FLDS Cult, and My Father, Warren Jeffs.

Rachel is the daughter of Warren Jeffs, the polygamist cult leader of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She escaped the cult in 2014 and has since built a new life for herself with her husband and their kids.
