Like Forbes, which prepares the global list of millionaires and is one of the most trusted sources of its kind, Hurun India 2025 has released its list of Indians who entered the rich list this year. More than just the names, it’s interesting to see how these multi-millionaires made their way into this elite circle.
Shah Rukh Khan, Anand Pandit and Amitabh Bachchan join Bollywood’s billionaire club
This year, the list in India, topped by Roshni Nadar and this time too, some of the biggest contemporary names from Indian cinema have featured in the list as stalwarts of showbiz.
Among the prominent names is veteran producer Anand Pandit, the man behind one of India’s leading production houses, Anand Pandit Motion Pictures. Not just as a producer who understands the pulse of the industry, he has also been included in the list for his key position as one of India’s leading real estate developers through The Lotus Developers, which has helped him maintain a strong position in the annual ranking of the richest.
Superstar Shah Rukh Khan, with an estimated wealth of Rs 12,490 crores, has become Bollywood’s richest-ever star. Anand Pandit’s presence, with a net worth of Rs 8,660 crores, clearly shows that success in the industry is no longer limited to those in front of the camera; producers, investors, and visionaries working behind the scenes are now part of the same league. Meanwhile, the legendary Amitabh Bachchan, with Rs 1,630 crores, also continues to hold a strong place on the list, reflecting his enduring legacy in Indian cinema.
From other Bollywood figures who made it to the list are Juhi Chawla and family, co-owners of Knight Riders Sports, with a net wealth of Rs 7,790 crores; Hrithik Roshan, who collaborates with the HRX brand, with Rs 2,160 crores; and Karan Johar of Dharma Productions, with Rs 1,880 crores.
