Kim Kardashian has joined team pixie! Wig? Whatever!
Stepping out for the Alaïa spring 2026 show amid Paris Fashion Week this morning (October 4), Kardashian cut a Kris Jenner-like figure. Wearing a domed black corset bodysuit and sheer skirt with a leather and shearling jacket draped over her shoulders, Kim sported her shortest chop ever. Wig or not, it was a double-take moment.

Kardashian showed off her jet-black pixie cut with soft and wispy bangs and tapering at the neck that recalled Jean Seberg or Audrey Hepburn in Roman Holiday, just as much as her mom Kris. “Paris pixi,” as her longtime hairstylist Chris Appleton dubbed it on Instagram.
But Kim Kardashian is no stranger to a crop. She’s previously worn her bleached blonde hair in a Marcel wave bob a la Marilyn Monroe, and a wet-look pastel pink cut above her shoulders. There’s blunt bobs and sleek lobs and flippy bobs, and deeply side parted bobs in the Kim’s hair style file. At Balenciaga’s couture show back in July, she revisited her bob with kiss curls pinned with jumbo hair clips. It’s a cut she likes to have a lot of fun with, but always finds herself coming back to big Hollywood curls and extra-long lengths.
The bob and pixie community continues to grow: recently welcoming Vogue cover star Emma Stone, and finding devoted bob-ers in everyone from Rihanna to the recently married Selena Gomez. Will Kim K stick to the Kris J crop? Unlike, but c’est la vie. Ce ne sont que des cheveux!
