Whether you love her or hate her, you can definitely not ignore this one Bigg Boss 19 contestant, who is making headlines because of her wealth and luxury life outside the show. You guessed it right, it is Tanya Mittal. She has managed to grab everyone’s attention inside and outside the Bigg Boss house. Recently, social media creator, Awez Darbar got evicted from the show and in an interview he opened up about the claims made by Tanya.
Awez Darbar calls Tanya Mittal a liar
Recently, Awez Darbar sat down for a candid conversation with Pinkvilla, in which he opened up about his journey on Bigg Boss 19. During the conversation, he opened up about the claims that Tanya is making on the show about her luxurious life, like having a lift in her kitchen, never repeating sarees and more. When Awez was asked if contestants fall for her claims or not, he was quoted as saying:
“Honestly mujhe bhi sach laga tha bohot jyada. Bohot hadd tak wo jis tarah se bol rahi hai aur instantly bolti thi. Bhai kya jhooti aurat hai, itni fast kaise jhoot bol sakti hai? Maine aaj tak kisiko itna fast jhoot bolte hue nahi dekha. Aur jo mai bahar aakar dekh raha hu, jo baatein nikli hai, jo kitchen ke andar lift hai na ye na wo. Kitchen mein achha sa gas bhi nahi hai barabar aur tum ye sab baat kar rahi ho.”
Awez Darbar continued to talk about Tanya’s claims of never repeating her sarees and shared that he has seen all her outfits on the show and on her social media as well and after that Awez only applauded her confidence and revealed that Tanya is a perfect character for reality shows. In his words:
“Usne ye baat bhi boli hai ki mai saree bhi repeat nahi karti hu. I have seen all the sarees jo usne waha pehni hai uske social media par bhi. But I have to say, tumhara confidence level crazy hai. For reality shows, you are a character. For that, I will give you a thumbs up. Lage raho. Jhoot bolne ka style majedaar hai tumhara.”
Tanya Mittal’s luxurious lifestyle
Since Day 1 of Bigg Boss 19, Tanya has made a string of eye-catching statements about living an ultra-luxurious life. Some of her claims include buying 800 sarees and never repeating them. Another claim was having a lift in the kitchen and dedicating an entire floor for clothes. The third claim was about multiple bodyguards and a powerful family background. Inside the Bigg Boss house, Tanya had also revealed her estimated earnings and bragged about getting very less electricity bills despite a big home only because of solar.

Popular social media content creator, Awez Darbar, entered Bigg Boss 19 with his girlfriend, Nagma Mirajkar. On September 14, 2025, Nagma got eliminated from the show during a surprise double eviction. In the coming weeks, Awez Darbar got nominated and was evicted on September 28, 2025, right after a reality check by Gauahar Khan. Awez’s eviction came with a lot of controversies as fans believed that his family had paid Rs. 2 crore for his voluntary exit, but later, those claims were dismissed by Awez.
