FKA Twigs folded Schiaparelli’s surrealism into street armor on Thursday, arriving at Daniel Roseberry’s spring 2026 show in the maison’s Western Keyhole ankle boots.
The design was all precision: black leather with curved Western seams, a wraparound strap held by brass rivets, and the house’s keyhole cast in gold, linking into a 95 mm stiletto. Stacked leather trousers skimmed the shaft of the ankle boot.

Her look doubled down on tactile touches. A crocodile-embossed jacket with strong shoulders sat over the trousers, its gloss cut against matte leather. A cinched belt added another hit of hardware. A coiled headpiece twisted skyward, chandelier earrings caught the light — all in black and gold, all pointed toward impact. The finish recalled the hard-edged styling she leaned into earlier this month at Matières Fécales, where shredded crimson pants and industrial platforms defined her front-row presence.

The boots slot into a run of deliberate shifts. On Wednesday, she was at Tom Ford in archival patent stilettos with cutout ankle ties. In September, she leaned heavy: block-heel platforms at Matières Fécales, Louboutin’s collaboration boots for the same house, distressed Windowsen thigh-highs at the VMAs. At Pandora’s Talisman launch in New York, she brought that scale Stateside, arriving in the curved-back Louboutin platforms engineered for Matières Fécales’ fall debut. Each choice has reinforced her role as one of fashion’s most experimental footwear allies.

Roseberry framed the season the same way. He staged the show at the Pompidou Center, empty of exhibits but open to a front row that included Kylie Jenner, Rosalía and Twigs. The setting carried weight: the museum hosted a Brâncuși exhibit last year, and his modernist lines informed the pared-back tailoring and punctured surfaces of the collection. “I wanted to do extreme wearability, but still maintain the extreme drama that sucks the air out of the room when you wear Schiap’,” he told WWD’s Joelle Diderich.
For FKA Twigs, the Keyhole heel did exactly that: grounded in leather, spiked in gold and sharpened for Paris streets.
