The actors, who tied the knot in November 2023, announced the name of their son, and it appears to be a special nod to Pavan Purta Hunuman.

The couple officially introduced him to the world through a heartwarming social media post. Dressed in elegant ethnic attire, Varun and Lavanya posed alongside their little one during what appeared to be the traditional naamkaran ceremony. The couple shared his name on the occasion of Dussehra, and it is the most heartfelt tribute to the almighty Hanuman.

The gold and beige clip further revealed the name of their son, Vaayu Tej Konidela. They also explained why they chose the name for their little one and revealed that it was more than just a symbol. The couple stated that it represents an unstoppable force of nature, devotion, courage, and spiritual radiance. Additionally, they called the name an essence of Lord Hanuman. Sharing the joyous update with his followers, Varun wrote:
“Our greatest blessing now has a name.”

The duo shared a black and white photo in which they were seen holding hands while Varun tucked his two fingers inside a pair of tiny shoes. The adorable couple revealed that they would soon be welcoming a new addition to their family. Along with the picture, they penned:

On the work front, Varun Tej Konidela’s most recent release was the period action thriller, Matka, directed by Karuna Kumar. The story, set between 1634 and 1888 in Visakhapatnam, explored the rise and fall of Vasu, a man caught in the dangerous world of the Matka gambling business. Varun will next be seen in an ambitious Indo-Korean horror comedy, currently referred to as VT15. Directed by Merlapaka Gandhi, the film is expected to pair him opposite Mirai fame, Ritika Nayak.
