Nicole Kidman was reportedly frustrated with husband Keith Urban’s lack of support for her career before she filed for divorce.
A source close to the family told People that when the “Babygirl” actress and the country music singer’s daughters, Sunday, 17, and Faith, 14, were younger, Kidman “was all about them.”
Now that the girls are older, the Oscar winner is reportedly “thriving” with work again.
“She’s been feeling amazing and very happy about having a career again,” a source said, noting that Sunday and Faith “love seeing their mom work” and are “very supportive” of her aspirations.
However, the source told the outlet that Urban has been “the opposite” of supportive.
“Keith was used to her being supportive of his career,” they explained. “He’s not been as supportive as she hoped.”
Page Six has reached out to reps for Kidman and Urban for comment.
On Monday, Page Six confirmed that Urban, 57, and Kidman, 58, had called it quits after 19 years of marriage.
“Sometimes relationships just run their course,” a source told us at the time, adding that the “Eyes Wide Shut” actress “did not want the separation and was trying to save things.”
Multiple sources told TMZ that the couple, who tied the knot in 2006, have been living apart “since the beginning of summer” and that the “American Idol” judge relocated to his own spot.
Kidman has reportedly been caring for their teen daughters, “holding the family together through this difficult time since Urban has been gone” on tour, per TMZ.
The outlet also reported that the “Blue Ain’t Your Color” crooner is rumored to have already moved on with another woman.
“All the signs point to the fact that Keith is with another woman,” multiple sources close to Kidman alleged.
“Let’s just say, Nicole doesn’t dispute that, but she’s still shocked over it.”
Another insider claimed the rumors are “all over Nashville.”
Kidman filed for divorce one day after the split news broke, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their breakup.
In the docs obtained by Page Six, the “Perfect Couple” star requested that she be the “primary residential parent” of their two daughters for 306 days out of the year, while Urban gets them for 59 days.
Kidman is also mom to daughter Bella, 32, and son Connor, 30, whom she shares with ex-husband Tom Cruise. The “Aquaman” actress and the “Top Gun” star, 63, were married from 1990 to 2001.
