    LPG price hike: Commercial cylinder cost up by Rs 15.50; household cooking gas rates remain unchanged – The Times of India

    Oil marketing companies on Wednesday revised the prices of commercial LPG cylinders, increasing the cost of a 19 kg cylinder by Rs 15.50. In Delhi, the new retail price for a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder will be Rs 1,595.50. The prices of 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinders remain unchanged, as reported by ANI. The revision comes as part of routine adjustments in line with global LPG rates and distribution costs. Consumers are advised to check local pricing as rates may vary slightly across regions.Public sector oil companies, Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL), and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL), adjust ATF and cooking gas prices on the first of each month, following international benchmarks and currency exchange rates.Petrol and diesel prices, however, have remained unchanged since mid-March last year, when rates were reduced by Rs 2 per litre ahead of the general elections. Currently, petrol is priced at Rs 94.72 per litre in Delhi, while diesel costs Rs 87.62.
