MILAN — Canali is investing in its retail footprint with the opening of flagships in Los Angeles and Seoul.

On Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, Canali’s boutique reinforces its presence in the U.S. with the unveiling of its new Lifestyle Store Concept, first introduced in New York on Madison Avenue in 2022.

“This boutique allows our clients to fully immerse themselves in the Canali lifestyle — a place where every architectural element has been crafted to reflect our identity and convey the essence of Italian elegance,” said Stefano Canali, president and chief executive officer of the Italian menswear tailoring company. “Los Angeles, with its unique blend of creativity, influence, and global allure, offers the perfect stage for this vision.

“As the city prepares to host the 2028 Olympic Games, its role as an international destination will only grow stronger, while Beverly Hills and Hollywood continue to embody a universe naturally aligned with Canali — where style, culture and inspiration converge. With this new space, we aim to offer an experience that goes beyond fashion, inviting our clients to live the Canali world in an authentic and contemporary way.”

The store draws inspiration from the spirit of a contemporary Milanese home. Key elements range from Cipollino marble to bronze finishes. Lines are curved and warm wood surfaces convey intimacy. Inside, the boutique unfolds into double-height rooms with expansive windows, featuring a private VIP area with an authentic Italian-style bar. Above the lounge, a mezzanine level is home to the tailoring atelier showcasing Canali’s sartorial tradition.

The establishment of a bar follows the opening of Canali’s first branded restaurant in Hong Kong last July. Dubbed Locanda Canali, the Italian word for inn, the dining space curated by chef Gianni Caprioli is located inside Harbour City Gateway Arcade, one of Hong Kong’s leading shopping destinations. It is located next door to the existing Canali boutique in Hong Kong’s luxury shopping mall.

Canali’s turnover for 2025 is estimated to reach 211 million euros, in line with last year. The Americas account for 50 percent of sales, followed by the Europe, Middle East and Africa region representing 34 percent of the total. Asia Pacific accounts for 16 percent of revenues.

In the U.S., in addition to Los Angeles, there are stores in New York, Las Vegas and Dallas.

The boutique in The Shilla Seoul, a premium lifestyle hotel, was inaugurated with an event attended by actor Wi Ha-jun, star of the global hit series “Squid Game,” underlining the brand’s growing resonance in Asia.

There are three Canali stores in Korea.

Canali was founded in 1934 and, now in its third generation, it remains an independent family-run business that retains tailoring at the core, integrating technology into the artisanal process.
