Conrad is back in Paris! Even better, actually, Christopher Briney is back in Paris for the Saint Laurent spring 2026 show. The actor took his place in the front row under the Eiffel Tower, where he did his best to stave off jetlag while admiring Anthony Vaccarello’s latest offering. “I tried to sleep in a little—jet lag is real and don’t let anybody tell you otherwise,” Briney tells Vogue of his day before the show. “Just overall tried to pace myself because fashion shows in Paris are big and exciting, but can be tiring.” (Fashion editors everywhere would agree.)
Briney’s everyday style is usually comprised of tees, jeans, and—importantly—a Knicks or Red Sox hat. “It’s who I am, the teams I love,” he says. “But that’s why dressing up for events and red carpets is fun because I get to explore and push boundaries with my stylist, Daniela Romero.” Briney and Romero opted for a sartorial 180 from the actor’s uniform for the Saint Laurent show.
When it came to his show look, Briney opted for a structured gray double-breasted suit with a burgundy tie, which he roughed up with a black leather jacket. “I think the simplicity of the suit combined with the toughness of the leather jacket is a cool contrast that I knew I immediately wanted to try it on,” he says. “It feels very New York-meets-Paris to me.”
As for what his fictional counterpart would wear? “Ooh, I’m not sure, that’s tough, truthfully. I don’t think he and I share all that much of a closet,” he says. “If I had to pick, I feel like I’d have to maybe go with something simple, clean, not super descriptive.”
Here, Christopher Briney takes us along as he gets ready for the Saint Laurent spring 2026 show.
