Former Super Bowl headliners are celebrating after Bad Bunny was announced as next year’s Super Bowl halftime show headliner.
It’ll actually be the second time that Bad Bunny takes to the Super Bowl stage, as he joined co-headliners Jennifer Lopez and Shakira back in 2020.
As such, J. LO shared a photo of the two from that year, writing, “Ahora te toca a ti !!!!! bori gang lets gooooo.”
Similarly, Shakira shared the official announcement and wrote, “Welcome back to the Super Bowl stage! Arriba mi gente latina!”
Fellow Puerto Rican and 2014 headliner Bruno Mars shared a statement of Benito’s, adding, “Go get em Bad Bunny!”
Jay-Z, who hasn’t performed but runs Roc Nation, the company that produces the show, said in a statement, “What Benito has done and continues to do for Puerto Rico is truly inspiring. We are honored to have him on the world’s biggest stage.”
