Sun’s out, bun’s mostly out.
Halle Berry, 59, posted a photo of herself on Instagram Sunday in a cheeky two-toned string bikini by Monday Swimwear, walking barefoot away from the camera across a desert landscape.
The Oscar-winning star captioned the post, “Looks like I’m going the wrong way, but I’m not… just going my own way!”
What was not visible? Her sunflower butt tattoo. The actress strategically covered the ink with her arm, keeping it out of view. Berry reportedly got the piece years ago to conceal ex-husband David Justice’s name, and has given fans glimpses of it over the years.
Berry has long been candid about regretting the original name tattoo.
In a 2012 InStyle cover, she called it “a dumb thing to do,” saying she would never get someone else’s name inked again.
The sunflower was meant to be symbolic — “when darkness descends they close up to regenerate,” she told Cosmo UK — but she also admitted she wishes she’d never gotten a tattoo in the first place.
Berry’s Monday Swimwear bikini is already a proven favorite. Just last month, she wore the same Malta Bottom ($80) and Tamarama Top ($88) during a Bora Bora birthday trip, showing off her toned figure while lounging above turquoise water.
Berry, who’s been dating the singer-songwriter Van Hunt since 2020, seems to be embracing this season of life with verve.
On the same sun-soaked getaway, she shared snaps of herself posing in skimpy swimwear, jet-skiing and embracing Hunt against the island backdrop.
She even trolled Justice, her ex-husband, with one smirking caption. “Phew…! cooking, cleaning and mothering,” she wrote on an Instagram post from the tropical vacation — a direct jab at Justice’s past comments questioning her maternal instincts.
