After 2024’s last-minute Chappell Roan cancellation, during the festival’s 10th anniversary, All Things Go NYC had some trust to rebuild and thousands of fans to dazzle this year. Across three days of packed programming (Sept. 26-28), the festival, a bastion of unabashed queer pride and resistance, overdelivered.
Friday (Sept. 26) boasted a Lucy Dacus-led lineup that included sets from Sarah Kinsley, Goldie Boutilier, The Aces, Maude Latour, Gigi Perez and Djo, who each handled the beaming sun with professional ease. From a surprise Zohran Mamdani appearance to Lucy Dacus officiating eight marriages onstage, Friday certainly kicked off 2025 All Things Go NYC with a bang.
The following day (Sept. 27), arguably the most stacked of the weekend, Sunday (1994), Alemeda, Michelle and Peach PRC warmed Queens’ Forest Hills Stadium up for a knockout four-act run comprised of Griff, Lola Young, Remi Wolf, and Doechii. Unfortunately, near the end of her crowd-conquering set, Young collapsed onstage and abruptly cancelled the rest of her performance. The “Messy” singer-songwriter pulled out of a scheduled performance at Audacy’s Prudential Center-set We Can Survive concert the night prior, citing a “sensitive matter” related to her mental health. Once Remi Wolf graced the stage for her set, the “Soup” singer notified fans that Lola was doing “okay” and in better condition.
Young also gave an update herself via an Instagram Story, writing, “For anyone who saw my set at [All Things Go] today, I am doing okay now. Thank you for all of your support.”
The final night of 2025 All Things Go NYC featured performances by Joy Oladokun, G Flip, Blondshell, Paris Paloma, The Last Dinner Party, The Marías and headliner Clairo. Notably, Clairo was unable to finish her set due to the venue’s curfew. She immediately got on X to write, “The festival cut us off. No idea why. Really sad we couldn’t do our big finish, more surprised they cut my mic midsong. Sad honestly doesn’t even explain it – I’m sorry.” She later added, “They didn’t tell us about the noise ordinance btw.”

In April, she shared her first collection of new music since that LP, and one of those new songs was an ode to her new beau. Taken from the Little House EP, “Can We Talk About Isaac?” is an infectious indie-pop track that got even sweeter when Chinouriri brought the real-life Isaac onstage for the very first time. With the crowd cheering as the couple shared a few quick smooches, Isaac’s cameo made for a beautiful physical manifestation of Chinouriri’s growth and healing from the trauma that informed her debut album.

Although she did not play the fan-favorite “Soup,” the soulful indie pop star tore through cuts like “Cherries & Cream,” “Hello Hello Hello” and “Disco Man.”
Before singing her final three songs (“Toro,” “Disco Man” and “Photo ID”), Remi stepped into her country-rock bag with a cover of Tom Cochrane’s timeless “Life Is a Highway,” complete with several massive, waving Pride flags. Nonetheless, the real show-stopping moment came by surprise near the middle of her set. In a brief interlude during which she bantered with the crowd, Remi nailed Cynthia Erivo’s viral “Defying Gravity” battle cry (twice!), quipping, “And that’s how you warm up your vocals, b—h!”

Not only did she deliver crisp vocals and flaunt her nifty guitar skills, but the three-time Grammy winner also officiated eight marriages live onstage. After singing through most of “Best Guess,” the second single from her chart-topping Forever Is a Feeling LP, Dacus married couples across the sexuality spectrum, making for a heartwarming moment that drove home the tenderness and care of her entire set.

}It’s been quite the year for Young since her breakthrough hit “Messy” topped three Billboard radio charts earlier this year. Just over a week after releasing I’m Only F—king Myself, her acclaimed third studio album, Young pushed through a winning performance at this year’s All Things Go NYC.
Though she cancelled a performance the previous night due to a “sensitive matter” around her mental health, she powered through several F—king Myself cuts, including “Spiders,” “Dealer,” and “F—k Everyone,” before collapsing halfway through her 2023 single “Conceited.” Even before Young’s set was prematurely ended, she delivered one of her strongest and most consistent vocal showcases of the year, nailing every ad-lib and safely landing each gutsy riff or belt she opted for in the moment. If anyone entered Forest Hills Stadium on the fence about Young, her music, or her live performance ability, they definitely exited the venue convinced that she’s the real deal.

For All Things Go NYC, the dynamic duo eschewed their School of Hip-Hop set and opted for a no-frills approach. Armed with just DJ Miss Milan on the boards and a stage dressed in faux greenery, Doechii delivered the strongest set of the entire weekend.
Between eyebrow-raising vocals during a rock re-work of “Anxiety,” rapid-fire bars during “Nisaan Altima,” and encouraging fans to “use [their] voices” against ongoing “genocides,” Doechii’s set distilled the aesthetic and political principles of hip-hop into a stellar two-woman show never lacking in energy or intensity. No special guests were needed here, just Doechii’s impressive physicality and near-unmatched stage presence.

About midway through her set, Friday night headliner Lucy Dacus surprised Forest Hills Stadium with the 2025 Democratic nominee for NYC mayor. The minute the crowd clocked who was walking out of the smoke, the cheers got so loud, one would think Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo popped out in full Wicked glam! Appearing briefly, Mamdani gave a rousing speech honoring the diversity of New York City and pledging to do everything within his power as mayor to protect it. The Democratic breakout star also reminded the crowd to double-check their voter registration ahead of November 4.
“[NYC] has to be a city that all of us can afford,” he said to rousing cheers. “Whether you’re an artist or a dreamer or someone who works the night shift, that city is within reach if we’re willing to fight for it.”
