Tyla took her look to the next level at the 2025 Global Citizen Festival with a pair of ultra-high Chucks. The singer hit the stage in a pair of statement-making Converse Chuck Taylor All Star XXHi high tops in black and white.

The shoes, which retail for $100, are a knee-high boot and sneaker hybrid that features a zipper at the back to make putting them on and taking them off a breeze. Following the aesthetic of the traditional ankle-length Chucks, the shoes also feature an adjustable lace-up design, which Tyla wrapped and tied around her calf, adding some punk edge to her ensemble.
The shoes are made from a durable canvas upper for that classic Chucks look and feel, with OrthoLite cushioning at the insole, which helps provide added comfort, and knee-high coverage of the leg. Converse also offers the high-tops in all-white, as well as the Chuck 70 De Luxe Heel XXHi, which are heeled, cowboy-boot-inspired platforms in a light brown shade.

Tyla paired the look with a fringed, strapless top featuring black and white stripes that moved along with her as she danced. The “Water” singer coordinated the top with micro teal shorts, a lace choker, and a short bob that was braided on one side.
Tyla was joined by other stars like Cardi B, Ayra Starr, Shakira, Mariah The Scientist, and more to perform at the 2025 Global Citizen Festival. Over 60,000 people attended the event at Central Park’s Great Lawn, which helped raise millions of dollars, including funds to protect and restore parts of the Amazon rainforest, for children’s education and nutrition, including more than $30 million for the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund.
