Speaking about the essence of the show, Indira shared, “I love the journey of every woman here, which streams into complicated things in life. Each woman has an agenda to keep their family happy.” Opening up about her role, she explained how the name itself reflects its strength and authority. “The name carries power and strength. She is also Sidhu’s mother-to-mother and understands her family and village well. She is highly commanding with dignity and respect,” she said.
Indira, who has always been appreciated for bringing authenticity to her performances, revealed that she strives for realism in every project. “I have always tried to bring realism to the screen and have connected with the audience through my character. The viewers always look forward to that in me,” she noted.
On what makes Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan stand out, the actress believes it is the mix of strong storytelling and cultural relevance. “Every show impacts with episodes aired and builds a connection with the audience. Zee TV is trying to create a new impact with stories that are strong and realistic,” she said, adding, “This show has good culture, which is required in today’s times. I am grateful for the role and the comfort they create for actors, from shelter to food,” she shared. Confident about her character’s impact, she concluded, “I have always given my best and always done something different; I am sure the audience will appreciate this character too.”
Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan airs on Zee TV every day at 9 pm.
