Taylor Swift reportedly gave a heartfelt speech at Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco’s star-studded wedding reception in Santa Barbara, Calif., over the weekend.
The “Lover” songstress and fellow musician Ed Sheeran, who has collaborated with Blanco on several albums, were among the few to speak at Saturday’s gathering, People reported.
The newlyweds’ respective parents also said a few words.
“At the reception, everyone was letting loose and celebrating them well into the night,” the insider told the outlet.
“The vibe was so much fun. They were glowing all night, and both Selena and Benny couldn’t stop smiling. There was so much love in the room.”
Reps for Swift, 35, and Sheeran, 34, did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
As Page Six previously reported, Swift flew into the Santa Barbara airport Friday afternoon to celebrate Gomez, 33, and Blanco, 37.
The “Lover” songstress was escorted off her private jet by several people shielding her with black umbrellas.
Page Six learned that she opted out of booking a room at the ritzy El Encanto hotel, where other guests were reportedly staying for $3,500 a night, and instead stayed in a rental home.
“She will be renting a house near the wedding venue, which is a secret to the public,” we were told by an insider. “Her security team feels it’s better than a hotel.”
According to the Sun, the El Encanto hotel was booked up for the last weekend of September for Gomez and Blanco’s nuptials.
An insider told the outlet on Sept. 16 that wedding guests would be picked up from the hotel and driven to the ceremony at an unknown location.
“Everyone is so excited. Despite the mystery, they know it will be an amazing time,” the insider stated.
In July, it was revealed that Gomez and Blanco would only be inviting their close family and friends to their ceremony.
With A-listers — such as Swift and Travis Kelce — on the invite list, the couple reportedly heightened security measures and considered a no-cell-phone policy.
“Security for Selena’s wedding will be of the utmost importance because not only is she a public figure, many of the guests will be too,” a source told the Daily Mail.
“She is going back and forth on whether or not to allow people to have their phones as an extra measure of security and privacy, along with the fact that she wants everyone to be present.”
At the time, another insider denied that the couple had scheduled their wedding for the fall to accommodate Swift’s busy schedule.
Blanco got down on one knee in December 2024 after a year of dating Gomez.
“forever begins now,” the actress captioned photos of herself with the producer.
At the time, Swift joked in the comments section that she would “be the flower girl.”
Despite the “Lover” songstress and Gomez’s long-standing friendship, the Grammy winner was notably not in attendance at the latter’s bachelorette party in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, last month.
