The ICC has announced a star-studded, female-led commentary lineup for the 2025 Women’s World Cup, promising fans a blend of expert insights and captivating analysis throughout the tournament.
Legendary former captains Mithali Raj, Sana Mir, and Anjum Chopra will share their tactical knowledge, alongside World Cup champions Mel Jones, Isa Guha, Stacy-Ann King, and Julia Price, offering a rich mix of experience and perspective.
Enhancing the panel further, ICC men’s trophy winners Dinesh Karthik, Aaron Finch, and Carlos Brathwaite will add their expertise, joined by former international stars Katey Martin, Ian Bishop, Natasha Farrant, Mpumelelo Mbangwa, and Russell Arnold.

India looking for maiden ICC title
India are eyeing their maiden Women’s World Cup title, aiming to end a long-standing wait for global glory. Historically, India have competed in 12 editions of the tournament since 1978 but have yet to lift the trophy. They have played 70 World Cup matches, winning 37, losing 31, with one tie and one no-result.
Their best performance came in 2017, reaching the final but losing to England. Recent form has been encouraging: since the last World Cup, India have won 25 out of 38 matches, showing consistency in international cricket.
